Getting a Device and Internet Access
Borrowed devices should be used for school purposes only and kept in a secure location.
If you do not have internet access at home, please contact our parent coordinator, Susan Taraby.
iPad and LAPTOP Care and Safety
Please exercise caution to protect your iPad or Laptop.
iPads should remain with the student they are assigned to in order to engage in remote learning. If there is a change in the student’s residence during remote learning the iPad should remain with the student, and should be used primarily inside the residence to prevent unnecessary damage. Damaged DOE iPads are protected by AppleCare. The DOE will work with families to get broken devices repaired using this coverage. For AppleCare support, please file a Technical Support Ticket or call the Help desk at 718-935-5100.
If you have borrowed a laptop/ or iPad from P.S. 63, if it gets damaged please contact the school, your child’s teacher, or our parent coordinator, Susan Taraby or the PS 63 Help Desk for further directions.
If you have borrowed a laptop/ or iPad, are moving, and your child will no longer be attending P.S. 63, please return the laptop or iPad to the school.
P.S. 63 Technology Help Desk
P.S. 63 Q has its own Google domain. Every student at PS63 has a google account with the domain “@ps63q.org”. If you do not know your student’s account information you can contact email@example.com or fill out the form below. Please provide your student’s name and class and a brief description of the problem.
Students will do their remote work on the Google Classroom Platform. Your child has been invited to their Google Classroom by their teachers. However, if there is a problem please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, the classroom teacher, or fill out the form below.
